9.1 General Provisions
9.1.1 This chapter is applicable to the quality acceptance of sub projects such as glass curtain walls, metal curtain walls, and stone curtain walls.
Explanation:
9.1.1 The building envelope structure composed of metal components and various plates suspended on the main structure and not bearing the load and action of the main structure is called a building curtain wall. According to the panels of building curtain walls, they can be divided into glass curtain walls, metal curtain walls, stone curtain walls, concrete curtain walls, and composite curtain walls. According to the installation form of building curtain walls, they can be divided into bulk building curtain walls, semi unit building curtain walls, unit building curtain walls, small unit building curtain walls, etc.
9.1.2 During the acceptance of curtain wall engineering, the following documents and records should be checked:
Construction drawings, structural calculations, design specifications, and other design documents for curtain wall engineering.
Confirmation documents for curtain wall engineering design by two architectural design units.
Product qualification certificates, performance testing reports, entry acceptance records, and re inspection reports for various materials, hardware accessories, components, and assemblies used in curtain wall engineering.
Certification and spot check certificate of silicone structural adhesive used in curtain wall engineering; Inspection certificate for imported silicone structural adhesive; The compatibility and peel adhesion test report of silicone structural adhesive issued by the national designated testing agency; Test report on the pollution resistance of sealant for stone materials.
On site tensile strength testing report for 5 rear embedded parts.
Test report on the wind pressure resistance, air permeability, rainwater leakage, and plane deformation performance of the curtain wall.
Record the temperature and humidity of the adhesive application and maintenance environment; Mixing test records and tensile test records of two-component silicone structural adhesive.
8. Record of lightning protection device testing.
9. Acceptance records of concealed works.
Processing and production records of 10 curtain wall components and assemblies; Construction records of curtain wall installation.
9.1.3 Curtain wall engineering should conduct retesting of the following materials and their performance indicators:
Peel strength of aluminum-plastic composite panel.
2. The curvature of the stone material; The freeze-thaw resistance of stone materials in cold regions; The radioactivity of granite used indoors.
Shore hardness, standard condition tensile bond strength, and compatibility test of structural adhesive for glass curtain walls; The bonding strength of structural adhesive for stone materials; The pollution of sealant used for stone.
9.1.4 The curtain wall project shall be inspected for the following concealed works:
1. Pre embedded parts (or post embedded parts).
The connection nodes of the two components.
3. Structural nodes at deformation joints and wall corners.
4. Curtain wall lightning protection device.
5. Fireproof structure of curtain wall.
9.1.5 The inspection batches of each sub project shall be divided according to the following regulations:
Curtain wall projects with the same design, materials, processes, and construction conditions should be divided into one inspection batch every 500-1000m2, and any area less than 500 m2 should also be divided into one inspection batch.
The discontinuous curtain wall projects of the same unit project should be separately divided into inspection batches.
For curtain walls with irregular shapes or special requirements, the division of inspection batches should be determined through consultation between the supervision unit (or construction unit) and the construction unit based on the structure, process characteristics, and scale of the curtain wall project.
9.1.6 The inspection quantity shall comply with the following regulations:
Each inspection batch should have at least one spot check per 100 square meters, and each spot should not be less than 10 square meters.
For curtain wall projects with irregular shapes or special requirements, they should be determined through consultation between the supervision unit (or construction unit) and the construction unit based on the structural and technological characteristics of the curtain wall.
9.1.7 The curtain wall and its connecting components should have sufficient bearing capacity, stiffness, and displacement ability relative to the main structure. The metal corner brackets connecting the curtain wall frame columns to other connecting components should be bolted together and equipped with anti loosening measures.
9.1.8 The structural bonding material used for concealed and semi concealed frame curtain walls must be neutral silicone structural sealant, and its performance must comply with the provisions of "Silicone Structural Sealants for Buildings" (GB16776); Silicone structural sealant must be used within its expiration date.
