5.1.4 The door and window engineering should be inspected for the following concealed engineering projects:

1. Embedded parts and anchoring components.

2. Anti corrosion and filling treatment of concealed parts.

5.1.5 The inspection batches of each sub project shall be divided according to the following regulations:

Wooden doors and windows, metal doors and windows, plastic doors and windows, and door and window glass of the same variety, type, and specification should be divided into one inspection batch for every 100 units, and for less than 100 units, they should also be divided into one inspection batch.

Every 50 special doors of the same variety, type, and specification should be divided into one inspection batch, and any number less than 50 should also be divided into one inspection batch.

Explanation:

5.1.5 This clause specifies the principles for dividing inspection batches for door and window engineering. The incoming doors and windows should be divided into inspection batches according to their varieties, types, and specifications, and different quantities of inspection batches for each type of door and window should be specified.

The types of doors and windows referred to in this article usually refer to the materials used in the production of doors and windows, such as solid wood doors and windows, aluminum alloy doors and windows, plastic doors and windows, etc; The type of doors and windows refers to the function or opening method of doors and windows, such as casement windows, vertical revolving windows, automatic doors, sliding doors, etc; Door and window specifications refer to the dimensions of doors and windows.

5.1.6 The inspection quantity shall comply with the following regulations:

1. For wooden doors and windows, metal doors and windows, plastic doors and windows, and door and window glass, at least 5% of each inspection batch should be randomly checked, and not less than 3 pieces should be inspected. If less than 3 pieces, all should be inspected; For the exterior windows of high-rise buildings, at least 10% of each inspection batch should be randomly checked, and not less than 6 units should be inspected. If there are less than 6 units, all should be inspected.

At least 50% of each inspection batch of 2 special doors should be randomly checked, and not less than 10 pieces should be inspected. If there are less than 10 pieces, all should be inspected.

Explanation:

5.1.6 This article specifies the inspection quantity for various inspection batches. Considering that the performance requirements for external windows of high-rise buildings (residential buildings with 10 floors or more and public buildings with a height exceeding 24m) should be stricter, the number of inspections for each inspection batch should be doubled. In addition, due to the significantly higher importance of special phyla compared to ordinary phyla and their smaller quantity, in order to ensure the functionality of species phyla, it is stipulated that the number of sampling inspections for each inspection batch should be increased compared to ordinary phyla.

Before installing doors and windows, the size of the door and window openings should be inspected.

Explanation:

5.1.7 This provision stipulates that before installing doors and windows, the size of the door and window openings should be checked. In addition to checking the size of individual door and window openings, visual inspection or line drawing inspection should also be carried out on rows or columns of door and window openings that are visible. If significant deviations are found, they should be reported to the relevant management personnel, and measures should be taken before installing doors and windows.

5.1.8 The installation of metal doors and windows and plastic doors and windows should be carried out using the method of reserving openings, and it is not allowed to use the method of installing while masonry or installing first and then masonry.

Explanation:

5.1.8 For the installation of metal doors and windows and plastic doors and windows, Chinese regulations have always stipulated that the method of reserving openings should be used for construction, and the method of installing while masonry or installing first and then masonry should not be used for construction. The main reason is to prevent the door and window frames from being deformed by compression and the surface protective layer from being damaged. The installation of wooden doors and windows should also adopt extensive construction with reserved openings. If the method of installing first and then masonry is used for construction, attention should be paid to avoiding damage, compression deformation, or contamination of door and window frames during construction.

5.1.9 The contact between wooden doors and windows and masonry, concrete or plaster layers should be treated with anti-corrosion measures and a moisture-proof layer should be installed; Wooden bricks buried in masonry or concrete should undergo anti-corrosion treatment.

When metal or plastic windows are combined, the size, specifications, and wall thickness of the splicing material should meet the design requirements.

Explanation:

5.1.10 The composite door and window frame material not only plays a connecting role, but also is an important load-bearing component of the composite window. Therefore, strict requirements should be placed on its material, and its specifications, dimensions, wall thickness, etc. should be provided by the design, and the composite window should be able to withstand the instantaneous wind pressure values in the area.

5.1.11 The installation of exterior doors and windows of buildings must be firm. It is strictly prohibited to use nails to fix doors and windows on masonry.

Explanation:

Whether the installation of doors and windows is firm not only affects their functionality but also their safety, and its importance is particularly significant for exterior wall doors and windows. Therefore, this provision stipulates that the Korean ethnic group must adopt a certain method of fixation, and the installation of doors and windows on the exterior walls of buildings must be ensured to be firm, and this provision is listed as mandatory. The installation of interior wall doors and windows must also be firm. This specification includes the requirement for firm installation of interior wall doors and windows as a main control item rather than a mandatory provision. Considering the low strength of bricks, blocks, and mortar joints in masonry, which are prone to breakage under impact, it is strictly prohibited to use nail fixation when installing doors and windows on masonry.

5.1.12 In addition to complying with design requirements and the provisions of this specification, the installation of species gates should also comply with relevant professional standards and regulations of the competent authorities.

Inspection method: observation.

5.2.6 Door and window frames, as well as door and window sashes with a thickness greater than 50mm, should be connected with double tenons. The mortise and tenon groove should be tightly fitted with rubber material and tightened with rubber wedges.

Inspection method: observation; Hand cranked inspection.

5.2.7 Glued board doors, fiberboard doors, and molded doors shall not come loose. Plywood shall not penetrate the surface veneer and shall not have any burrs. When making plywood doors and fiberboard doors, the frame and horizontal ribs should be on the same plane, and the surface layer, frame, and horizontal ribs should be pressure bonded. Two or more ventilation holes should be drilled on the horizontal ribs and upper and lower protrusions, and the ventilation holes should be unobstructed.

Inspection method: observation.

5.2.8 The variety, type, specifications, opening direction, installation position, and connection method of wooden doors and windows should meet the design requirements.

Inspection method: observation; Measurement inspection; Check the product qualification certificate of the finished door.

5.2.9 The installation of wooden door and window frames must be firm. The anti-corrosion treatment of pre embedded wooden bricks, the number, position, and fixing method of wooden door and window frame fixing points should meet the design requirements.

Inspection method: observation; Hand cranked inspection; Check the acceptance records and construction records of concealed works.

5.2.10 Wooden door and window sashes must be installed firmly, and should be flexible in opening and closing, tightly closed, and free of warping.

Inspection method: observation; Open and close checks; Hand cranked inspection.

Explanation:

5.2.10 Under normal circumstances, when doors and windows are closed, the upper end of the door and window sash should be in contact with the lower end at the same time or slightly earlier than the lower end to adhere tightly to the door and window frame. The so-called "reverse warping" usually refers to the phenomenon where when the door and window sash is closed, the lower end of the door and window sash is already tightly attached to the lower frame of the door and window, while the upper end of the door and window sash is not tightly attached to the upper frame of the door and window due to warping, and there is still a gap.

5.2.11 The model, specifications, and quantity of wooden door and window accessories should meet the design requirements, be installed firmly, be in the correct position, and meet the functional requirements for use.

Inspection method: observation; Open and close checks; Hand cranked inspection.

Explanation:

5.2.11 Considering the development of materials, this specification uniformly refers to door and window hardware as accessories. Door and window accessories not only affect the function of doors and windows, but may also affect safety. Therefore, this specification lists the model, specification, quantity, and function of door and window accessories as the main control items.
