6.1 General provisions

6.1.1 This chapter is applicable to the quality acceptance of sub projects such as concealed keel ceilings and exposed keel ceilings.

6.1.1 This chapter is applicable to suspended ceiling projects with keel decorative panels. According to different construction techniques, it is divided into concealed keel ceiling and exposed keel ceiling.

During the acceptance of the suspended ceiling project, the following documents and records should be checked:

Construction drawings, design specifications, and other design documents for the suspended ceiling project.

The product qualification certificate, performance testing report, entry acceptance record, and re inspection report of the two materials.

6.1.3 The formaldehyde content of artificial wooden boards should be retested for ceiling engineering.

6.1.4 The suspended ceiling project shall be inspected for the following concealed works:

Installation and pressure testing of pipes and equipment inside the suspended ceiling.

2. Fireproof and anti-corrosion treatment for wooden keel.

3. Pre embedded parts or tie bars.

Installation of suspension rods.

Installation of 5 keels.

6. Setting of filling materials.

6.1.4 In order to ensure the safe use of the suspended ceiling project and to ensure that the finish is not damaged during the final acceptance, the acceptance of concealed works in the suspended ceiling project is very important. All items listed in this article should provide a concealed works acceptance record signed by the supervising engineer.

6.1.5 The inspection batches of each sub project shall be divided according to the following regulations:

Every 50 rooms of the same type of ceiling project (large rooms and corridors with a ceiling area of 30m2 per room) should be divided into one inspection lot, and any room less than 50 should also be divided into one inspection lot.

6.1.6 The inspection quantity shall comply with the following regulations:

At least 10% of each inspection batch should be randomly sampled, and no less than 3 rooms should be inspected; When there are less than 3 rooms, all should be inspected.

Before installing the keel, a handover inspection should be conducted according to the design requirements for the net height of the room, the elevation of the openings, and the elevation of the pipes, equipment, and their supports inside the ceiling.

6.1.8 The wooden suspension rods, wooden keels, and wooden decorative panels of the suspended ceiling project must undergo fire prevention treatment and comply with relevant design fire prevention regulations.

6.1.8 Due to the rapid upward spread of flames and hot air in the event of a fire, fire prevention is crucial for ceiling construction. Therefore, caution should be exercised when using wooden materials to decorate and decorate ceilings. The Fire Prevention Code for Interior Decoration Design of Buildings (GB50222-1995) stipulates that the combustion performance of ceiling decoration materials must reach Class A or Class B1, and the combustion performance of untreated wooden materials cannot meet this requirement.

6.1.9 Pre embedded parts, steel suspension rods, and steel suspension rods in suspended ceiling engineering should be treated with rust prevention.

Before installing the decorative panel, the debugging and acceptance of the pipes and equipment inside the ceiling should be completed.

6.1.11 The distance between the suspension rod and the end of the main keel shall not exceed 300mm. When it exceeds 300mm, additional suspension rods shall be added. When the length of the suspension rod is greater than 1.5 meters, a counter support should be installed. When the suspension rod meets the equipment, the suspension rod should be adjusted and added.

6.1.12 Heavy duty lighting fixtures, fans, and other heavy equipment are strictly prohibited from being installed on the keel of the suspended ceiling project.

6.1.12 The setting of the keel is mainly to fix the decorative material, and some lightweight equipment such as small lamps, smoke detectors, sprinklers, air vents, etc. can also be fixed on the decorative material. But if the electric fan and large chandelier are fixed on the keel, it may cause accidents such as falling off and injuring people. In order to ensure the safety of the suspended ceiling project, this provision is specially formulated and made mandatory.
