1、 Product Core Definition

Cold applied polyurethane marking paint is a kind of normal temperature curing marking paint, which takes polyurethane resin as the core film-forming component, compounded with high-performance pigments and fillers, anti-aging additives and environmentally friendly solvents. Its core advantage lies in the strong toughness and chemical stability of polyurethane molecular structure, which does not require high temperature heating. It can quickly form a marking coating with high elasticity, high wear resistance and strong weather resistance through room temperature brushing, rolling coating or spraying. It is widely used in traffic guidance, area division and safety warning scenarios that require higher flexibility and weather resistance. It is the preferred marking solution in complex environments such as humidity and large temperature differences.


This product strictly complies with the relevant standards of "Road Marking Coatings" (JT/T 280-2004) and "Polyurethane Waterproof Coatings" (GB/T 19250-2013). After testing by the National Building Materials Testing Center, it has shown outstanding performance in key indicators such as elastic recovery rate, UV aging resistance, and chemical corrosion resistance. 1. Fast drying at room temperature, efficient construction

No specialized high-temperature heating equipment is required. After opening the barrel, add a special curing agent (usually 5:1 mixture of components A and B) and stir evenly before construction. The equipment investment cost is reduced by more than 50% compared to hot-melt coatings. At a room temperature of 20 ℃, the surface drying time only takes 8-12 minutes, and the actual drying time is ≤ 45 minutes. Even at a low temperature of 10 ℃, the actual drying time can be controlled within 60 minutes, greatly reducing the road closure period. Especially suitable for efficient construction of enclosed spaces such as urban underground garages and tunnels, reducing interference with traffic flow and production operations.


2. Strong adhesion, wear resistance, and durability

By utilizing the dual effects of physical adsorption and chemical bonding between polyurethane resin and substrate, the adhesion force can reach over 1.5 MPa, and it can withstand the rolling and tire friction of heavy trucks and construction machinery for a long time without damage. Simultaneously possessing excellent elastic recovery performance, with an elastic recovery rate of ≥ 90%, it can adapt to slight settlement and vibration of the road surface, effectively avoiding coating damage caused by substrate cracking, and extending the use time by more than 30% compared to ordinary epoxy marking paint.


3. Weather and corrosion resistance, strong environmental adaptability

The cross-linked structure formed by polyurethane molecules is dense and elastic, with weather resistance far exceeding that of traditional coatings. It can maintain a bright color even after 5 years of outdoor use. It can withstand severe temperature differences from -30 ℃ to 80 ℃, and does not become brittle or sticky in the cold winter of Northeast China or in the hot summer environment of the south. At the same time, it has excellent chemical corrosion resistance and can resist long-term erosion from gasoline, diesel, acid and alkali solutions, salt water (snow melting agents), etc. It has stable performance in special environments such as coastal ports, chemical parks, and northern snow removal areas, and has no risk of penetrating corrosion to the substrate. 4、 Key points for construction and storage

1. Preparation before construction

The substrate needs to be dry and clean (with a moisture content of ≤ 8%, and wet substrates can use wet curing products), removing oil stains, floating dust, moss, and residual old markings. If there are cracks on the cement floor, polyurethane putty should be used to repair and level them first. The temperature of the construction environment should be controlled between 5-40 ℃, with a relative humidity of ≤ 90%. Construction can be carried out in a slightly damp state on the substrate after light rain (but there should be no visible water). According to the design requirements, use an ink fountain to mark the reference line. Set control points every 60m for straight sections and every 8m for curved sections to ensure a smooth and straight line shape. The mixture of components A and B should be used within 20 minutes to avoid premature curing of the coating.


2. Construction method

High pressure airless cold spray marking machine (pressure 0.4-0.6MPa) is used for large-scale construction, with the nozzle 8-12cm above the ground and moving at a constant speed (3-5km/h) to ensure uniform coating thickness (0.3-0.5mm); Small and complex patterns are constructed using specialized marking brushes or rolling brushes, with consistent brushing direction to avoid sagging and pinholes. If viscosity adjustment is required, only specialized diluents can be used, with an addition amount of ≤ 3%. Excessive amounts will reduce coating performance. Reflective glass beads need to be spread before the coating dries to ensure that the embedding depth meets the standard.
