Precautions for construction of low-temperature epoxy flooring in winter

1. Separate the low temperature period.

When applying epoxy floor paint, try to separate the low temperature period as much as possible, start construction after 10am, and stop construction at 3pm to reduce the impact of low temperature.

2. Increase the room temperature.

Increase the indoor temperature to above 5 degrees Celsius, which can also be used for winter construction. Many factories in the north have heating supply, which can be opened before and during construction.

3. Add solvent.

Less than 5% of solvents with fast evaporation rates can be added, such as acetone, ethyl acetate, butyl acetate, etc. This can solve the problem of high viscosity and lack of leveling of floor paint at low temperatures.

4. Heating of paint.

Place the paint in a warm environment or heat it with steam or hot water. But be careful not to let steam or hot water enter the coating, and keep the temperature of the hot water below 38 degrees.
