Epoxy flooring is an aesthetic, durable, easy-to-clean floor protection material with excellent chemical resistance.
Dongguan epoxy flooring features high resin content and a smooth surface. However, its mechanical hardness cannot compare with inorganic stone materials such as ceramic tiles, terrazzo, and marble. It is easily scratched by sharp objects, and due to its high surface smoothness, any scratches will be quite noticeable. Although scratches do not affect the functional performance of the floor, they will spoil its appearance. Therefore, the following points should be observed during daily use:
Avoid scratching the floor with sharp objects
Do not drag heavy items with rough bottoms across the floor to prevent scratches. When moving heavy objects, use trolleys fitted with rubber wheels (ensure no grit is stuck on the wheel surface).

The normal continuous operating temperature of epoxy flooring is 60℃, and the intermittent temperature shall not exceed 90℃. Prolonged high temperature will cause adverse effects on the floor. The heat resistance requirement of the floor should be fully considered before construction. In case of occasional thermal shock, discharge cold water to the same area simultaneously with high-temperature hot water to ease the thermal impact.
Please note that epoxy flooring is an organic polymer material. Although it possesses good chemical resistance, certain strong organic solvents and high-concentration oxidizing substances can still cause severe damage to the floor. Maintain good sanitary conditions
Clean the floor regularly with a clean mop and suitable detergent to prevent dirt from accumulating in scratches, so as to keep the floor beautiful and clean. Never use metal brushes, as they will damage the floor. For stubborn stains, use professional cleaning agents.
According to feedback from our site engineers, common abnormal phenomena and solutions are as follows:
a. White scale-like deposits after cleaning can be removed with a fingernail or thinner.
b. Stains formed by chemical spills on the floor (solvent: ethanol).
c. Wipe the stains with a clean soft cloth dampened with ethanol; use a new soft cloth and clean solvent for each wiping.
d. If ethanol fails to remove the stains, try nitro thinner following the same wiping method.
