Eight Standards to Judge the Qualification of Epoxy Flooring Construction

News from Jinfeng Epoxy Flooring: The acceptance standards for epoxy flooring are as follows:

1. When the ambient temperature is 25℃, the epoxy floor shall be fully cured within 2–3 days after construction, with hardness reaching about 80% of complete curing.

2. No tackiness shall appear on the epoxy floor surface.

3. Bubbles: No bubbles allowed for flat-coat and mortar types; self-leveling type allows 1 small bubble per 10 square meters.

4. Good leveling performance, no trowel marks, and basically smooth at large-area joints.

5. No floating color or mottling; the color shall be uniform and consistent. Extremely unnoticeable color difference at large-area joints is acceptable.

6. No coarse impurities; tiny defects caused by floating dust in the air are allowed.

7. The epoxy floor surface shall be flat and smooth, with gloss meeting the design requirements (high gloss ≥ 90, glossy ≥ 70, semi-gloss 50–70). Flat-coat type is glossy, and water-based type is semi-gloss to non-glossy.

8. Obvious orange-peel effect and mortar anti-slip surface effect.
