In rainy and overcast weather, the air pressure is generally low. Under such conditions, construction of epoxy floor paint tends to leave a large amount of harmful substances, which are difficult to volatilize. It is therefore recommended to open all doors and windows at the construction site to ensure good indoor ventilation. This can speed up indoor air circulation and protect the health of construction workers.

When carrying out epoxy floor construction on rainy days, proper surrounding protection measures must be taken. Industrial dedicated dehumidifiers are required for construction of the base layer.

High air humidity will also affect the ground base. Direct application of epoxy floor paint on damp ground is likely to cause floor deformation. In rainy weather, high air humidity makes it hard for the ground to dry thoroughly. Meanwhile, due to its special chemical composition, epoxy flooring cannot blend well with water like cement concrete.

Even if the ground feels dry to the touch, its moisture content often still fails to meet construction requirements. Blind construction of epoxy flooring under such conditions will lead to subsequent problems such as coating delamination and blistering.
