Epoxy wear-resistant flooring is one of the key products in the epoxy resin flooring series. Only by ensuring the rationalization of every link in the construction process can a high-hardness and wear-resistant epoxy resin floor be completed. So what key aspects need to be noted?

First is the storage of raw materials. In most cases, most flooring materials are delivered to the construction site in advance before construction starts, so the delivered materials need proper storage. Check whether there are air holes in the material packaging to prevent water vapor from entering. In addition, avoid placing materials on damp ground, as moisture will easily cause the floor materials to coagulate and deteriorate. Keep the storage environment well sheltered from strong wind to prevent excessive airborne dust from contaminating and spoiling raw materials. Finally, control the ambient temperature, which should be kept above 5°C; excessively low temperature will also lead to material deterioration.

Second is the requirement for a professional construction team. All construction workers engaged in epoxy flooring projects must receive professional and rigorous training before taking up their posts. During construction, staff must wear work uniforms, safety shoes, masks and other necessary protective equipment. If the coating accidentally contacts the skin, wash it off promptly with soap and water. All construction materials must be kept away from any moisture, so workers can only use dry cleaning cloths. Since epoxy coatings are highly oxidizable, open flames and smoking are strictly prohibited at the construction site, with clear no-smoking signs posted in visible areas.

Third is strict construction quality control. Every construction procedure must follow professional standards, including floor flatness control and accurate mixing ratio of all coatings. After construction completion, conduct regular inspections to check for defects such as pinholes and color difference.

Last is daily maintenance. Maintenance is an essential part of epoxy flooring quality management. Areas exposed to long-term sunlight are prone to yellowing; places with heavy pedestrian flow tend to suffer severe wear. Moreover, if daily maintenance is neglected and sediment and sand are frequently brought onto the floor, the floor surface will be severely damaged. Therefore, regular cleaning is required to keep the floor clean, tidy and aesthetically pleasing.
