Client Introduction

The National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA) is located in the heart of Beijing, west of Tiananmen Square, to the west of the Great Hall of the People and south of West Chang'an Avenue. It consists of the main building, underwater corridors on the north and south sides, an underground parking lot, an artificial lake and green spaces.

It covers a total land area of 118,900 square meters with a total construction area of approximately 165,000 square meters, including 105,000 square meters for the main building and 60,000 square meters for underground auxiliary facilities. The total initial investment stood at 2.688 billion RMB, while the latest officially announced construction cost of the Grand Theatre is 3.1 billion RMB.
