Shaanxi Automobile Group Co., Ltd. was founded in 1968 and is headquartered in Xi’an, Shaanxi Province. It has grown into an extra-large automobile enterprise group covering a land area of 4.5 million square meters, with total assets of 14.9 billion yuan and more than 23,000 employees.
The company’s product portfolio covers heavy-duty off-road vehicles, heavy-duty trucks, medium and large buses (chassis), medium and light-duty trucks, heavy-duty axles, Cummins engines and auto parts. It is the only designated production base for off-road vehicles retained after national type selection and comparative tests, as well as one of China’s first batch of automobile export base enterprises.
At present, the Group holds shares in or controls 20 subsidiary companies, including Shaanxi Heavy Duty Automobile Co., Ltd., Baoji Huashan Engineering Vehicle Co., Ltd., Shaanxi Oulute Automobile Co., Ltd., Shaanxi Hande Axle Co., Ltd. and Xi’an Cummins Engine Co., Ltd.
