The causes and solutions of brush marks

Reasons for brush marks:

A、 The main reasons for the coating itself are poor leveling and high viscosity of the coating; Fillers or additives with thixotropy.

B、 Construction reasons: Incorrect construction method, long construction time after mixing the paint, incorrect surface treatment of the drum, and thin coating.

Solution:

A、 The reason for the coating is to increase the leveling property of the coating, reduce the viscosity of the coating, and minimize the use of thixotropic fillers and additives as much as possible. Special attention should be paid to the phenomenon of using leveling agents for wall coatings in floor coatings.

B、 Pay attention to the construction method, and the curing time of the coating should not be too long. From the two ends of the drum to the rounded corners, the thickness of the coating should not be less than 0.15mm as much as possible.
