The rolling coating construction tools for epoxy floor paint are divided into two types: manual rolling coating and mechanical rolling coating. Manual rolling coating is mostly used for building coating construction and large-scale ship construction, while mechanical rolling coating is used for large-scale shaping product coating.
The rolling coating of epoxy floor paint may result in coating defects such as rolling marks (stripes), loss of gloss, and splashing. Usually, whether it is manual roll coating or mechanical roll coating, the epoxy floor paint is applied to the surface of the coated object by the rotation of the roller (mechanical roll coating can be applied on both sides at once). However, when the roller rotates, it is easy for the wet coating film to form stripes (rolling marks). Under normal circumstances, these stripes will self level during the drying process.
But if there are too many roll coating cycles (referring to manual roll coating), the coating is already in a semi dry state before the roller leaves the wet coating film. At this time, the viscosity of the coating is high, and the roll marks carried out by the roller do not have time to level and are fixed on the dry film, forming roll marks and coating defects such as loss of gloss of the epoxy floor paint coating film; When the rolling speed (drum rotation) is too fast, the coating is easily affected by the rotational force to form particles that detach from the drum and splash onto the surface being coated, resulting in coating defects such as epoxy floor paint splashing.
