To maintain market order in the flooring industry, promote the long-term and sound development of flooring enterprises, and ensure all flooring projects are completed with guaranteed quality and quantity, relevant national authorities have formulated administrative measures for the grade evaluation of flooring construction enterprises. The details are introduced as follows:
ApplicationAll qualified enterprises are eligible to apply and submit application documents to the Secretariat of the Flooring Industry Branch.
Evaluation and ReviewThe review shall be conducted by industry experts. The process includes preliminary document verification of the applicant’s submitted materials, followed by on-site inspection. Enterprises that pass the evaluation will be issued a Flooring Construction Enterprise Grade Certificate by the Branch. Certified enterprises will also be publicized through official media platforms.
Supervision and ManagementCertified enterprises shall properly keep the certificate and are prohibited from scratching, defacing or altering it in any form. It is not allowed to subcontract projects to uncertified enterprises. As of the certification date, enterprises shall submit annual reports of all completed projects to the Branch every year.
Grade ClassificationFlooring construction enterprises are classified into four grades: Grade 1 Class A, Grade 2 Class A, Grade B and Grade C.
Grade PromotionEnterprises may conduct self-assessment six months after obtaining the certificate, and then submit a grade promotion application to the Branch.
Certificate IssuanceThe certificate is valid for 3 years commencing from the date of issuance.
